'The Contemporary Illustrated Pin-Up' from Schiffer Publishing is a 128 page hard cover book showcasing the work of 15 modern pin-up artists. I'm very pleased to be one of them, alongside the likes of Dave Nestler, Erica Hesse and Armando Huerta.
The book has almost 300 full colour illustrations covering a range of art styles and themes. Everything from horror, fantasy and science fiction to low brow, comics and, of course, a generous helping of classic cheesecake. Tasty!
Want one? I have a small number of advance copies for sale at the discounted price of £25 ( plus postage ) and, just because you're all so super, I'll be including prints of 'Love Is' and 'Along Came a Spider' free of charge with every purchase! No, I can't quite believe it either. Naturally I'll be happy to sign any or all items if you wish.
To buy, please email email@example.com with your shipping address. I'll work out the postage costs and send you PayPal request for the total amount. ( UK postage will be £5. )
What's that? An ideal Christmas gift for Great Uncle Bertie? Damn straight.

Wow. Six months go past quickly in the blogosphere! Weird to look out of the window to see the leaves on the trees starting to go brown and think that last time I posted here they were just buds. Nature, eh? That's some crazy shiz right there.
Enough foliage talk. Here are the headlines:
My new book is complete! Girls on Top 2 is at the printers and will hopefully be on sale in time for the holiday season. I'm enormously proud to announce that the foreword has been written by the first lady of fantasy, Caroline Munro. Famous for her appearances on screen in films such as Starcrash, The Spy Who Loved Me, Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter and The Golden Voyage of Sinbad amongst others, Caroline's roles often combined glamour with strength and confidence; a very appealing mixture and something I try to portray in my own work so I'm delighted to have her contribution. Here's a little taste of what you can expect in the book:
May 16 was the second anniversary of the death of Ronnie James Dio. Listening to the Holy Diver album on repeat I was inspired to paint this in memory of one of the great voices of metal:
It's been a great summer of conventions, and I'd like to thank everyone who has stopped by my table at the shows this year so far. Just two more to go:
Entertainment Media Show. Olympia Grand Hall, London. October 6 - 7.
Memorabilia. NEC, Birmingham. November 24 - 25.
Got to dash. Halloween flavoured pin-ups don't paint themselves. See you later in the month..!
